Tutorial learning objectives - Week 1

By the end of this tutorial, you should be able to:

• Confirm technical setup for the course

  • Ensure that R, RStudio, and the fpp3 package are installed on your computer.
  • Be comfortable using key tidyverse packages (dplyr, ggplot2) and understand the basics of using Quarto.

• Successfully work with a Quarto document

  • Open and run the IA_template.qmd file.
  • Knit the document to produce a PDF without errors.

• Start thinking about IA1

  • Discuss with your fellow students how you would go about your forecasting tasks.
